53 classes in 58 days..

i've managed to do 53 bikram yoga classes in 58 days (i can't make the friday classes, otherwise i would totally have not missed them, plus the puppy was sick one day) i started doing doubles to make up for them... as i'm nearing 60 days, i'm wondering will i complete 90 classes in 90 days? or 101 classes in 101 days?  i'm not even sure what my goal is... i'm 5 classes off which doesn't seem like much but every friday i miss a class so really if i do one extra class on saturday to make up for it, i'd have to do 5 extra sundays as well to get to a 1:1 ratio, it seems like once you are behind, ur always going to be behind, i don't know if i can do 5 weekends full of doubles... i think i need to set my goal, figure it out, then i have some sort of motivation cuz right now i'm just kind of going along with it... if i have time on the weekend or feel like it, i'll go to an extra class, if not... no biggie.. thats a great mentality but at the same time, i'm feeling like i have no drive

and why does 90 days seem sooo much longer and farther than 60 days?  i feel like i can't make it to 90 days... but i have found this new appreciation for yoga and i don't dread class at all, i appreciate going to class, its never hard for me to get up and go, but nine zero seems like a very large number, there's 30 days between 60 and 90, but the number 90 just seems like it grew exponentially larger from 60

i finally got a kor bottle!

i've wanted a kor water bottle for over a year now... i read about it on one of the blogs i follow and fell in love with them...  they are very aesthetically pleasing and 5% of the proceeds for their special edition bottles goes towards their Thirst for Giving campaign.  depending on which bottle you buy, it goes towards a selected non-profit for causes like ocean protection, watershed protection, bottle container recycling, and the global water crisis.  my camelbak water bottle cap broke two weeks ago so it was time to replace and i decided to finally get a kor; however, they have these new bottles since the last time i checked.... the kor delta...

and of course i am more attracted to the new water bottles because the handle is larger and also the base is rounder so it would fit the cup holder in my car better (i have a hard time with odd shaped bottles, even vitamin waters because they are ridged).  but what sucked is that they don't have special edition bottles for the kor delta.  if they do come out with the special edition bottles in kor delta, i'd be more than happy to purchase it, you can never have too many water bottles, plus i'd like to round out my collection of colors... but for now, i am the proud owner of two kor delta bottles, an ice blue and an orchid pink... (they still donate 1% of all sales to their Thirst for Giving campaign, so this purchase still has karma points)

by the way, these bottles are of course BPA-free and yes reusable water bottles are sustainable and wallet friendly.. the average person buys 150 bottles of water per year with 70% of those plastic bottles left in a landfill somewhere

what am i hoping to accomplish?

so i'm not quite sure, why i wanted to start a real blog... i've wanted to for awhile, a "foodie" blog, but do i want to review restaurants?  not quite, i feel odd pulling out a camera everywhere i go, and sometimes i don't go out to eat at all, and sometimes, its non-stop and sometimes its not places i care to talk about... do i want to blog about cooking since i love to cook so much?  perhaps... but there's some days/weeks where i am non-stop cooking and then there's some weeks where all i do is eat out... that won't work... travel?  i don't travel that often, but i love to travel... i considered starting a blog about yoga, bikram yoga to be exact, as i ventured into a 30 day challenge this year... what if i don't complete it?  then i'm a failure... and somehow i'm nearing the end of my own personal 60 day challenge, still not sure where i'm going with this... am i aiming for 90 days?  i'm not too sure, will i do 101 day?  who knows... will after 5 years of if you call it practice i finally become a "regular" bikram yogi?  ... i'm finally almost scuba ready with my own gear, will i be able to share pictures?  yes... but how often will i go?  could i keep people interested with my lack of posts?

as frazzled as i sound, think about it, this is everyone's life as well... bits and pieces of everything... so i'm not going to say this is going to be a blog about food or a blog about scuba or a blog about bikram... this is going to be a blog about anything and everything under the sun... this is going to be what i consider a lifestyle blog... food/cooking/random rants/travel/comings and goings/yoga/scuba/shopping/purses/my dog/whatever i feel like it

what finally sparked this?  i finally signed up for a weekly csa (community supported agriculture), i have something to blog about, at least weekly, a box of random goodness which i'm hoping to get me creative in the kitchen and have some fun...
